A construction worker fell Monday at the North Carolina Museum of History site in downtown Raleigh.
Around 8 a.m., local media crews saw multiple firetrucks and Raleigh police officers at the construction site on Edenton Street.
The Raleigh Police Department's chief told media that a worker fell in what was thought to be a confined space, which prompted a large emergency response.
However, it is believed the worker's injuries were not serious.
A Raleigh police vehicle was temporarily blocking traffic during the response.
The museum, which has been at the downtown Raleigh site since 1994, closed in 2024 as part of a major renovation and makeover that is estimated to take between two and three years. The museum is on track to reopen to the public in 2028.
