Hail pounded North Texas overnight, leaving behind widespread damage — including at the Fort Worth Aviation Museum, where dozens of historic aircraft were hit. Broken insulation now litters the floor and exhibits inside the museum. Outside, 40 military planes are on display – many of them showing visible damage from the storm - including a Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet that arrived just two weeks ago with a fresh coat of paint. At the museum, the cost of repairs remains unclear — and insurance isn’t an option. “It was well beyond the budget of the museum to be able to insure each and every airplane against acts of God,” the museum shared. https://lnkd.in/eGxd8acr
