Chicago has been an incredible stop for the Cultural Safeguard Alliance, and a strong reminder of what’s possible when committed professionals open doors, share insights, and build community across institutions.
While in town, we had the opportunity to visit the Chicago History Museum with CSA Member Omar Otero, the Shedd Aquarium with CSA Panel of Experts Member Jesse R Greenblatt, MS, CIPM , and the Art Institute of Chicago with Corey Burrage CIPM II , CIPI. We also made time to visit the Adler Planetarium, adding one more inspiring cultural institution to an already packed and meaningful visit.
To Jesse, Omar, and Corey - and to all of our CSA Members in Chicago - thank you for the gracious hospitality, the behind-the-scenes perspective, and for taking the time to show us around your wonderful institutions. We are grateful for the work you do every day to protect, steward, and share these spaces with the public, and we’re excited to keep building together.
