An apparent fake threat closed San Jose’s Happy Hollow Park and Zoo on Saturday, according to the police department. Police said they responded to a “suspicious circumstance” at the zoo at around 10:20 a.m. There, they were made aware of a possible swatting call in regard to a threat involving explosives. Authorities said the area was evacuated out of abundance of caution. Police said officers did not find anything suspicious inside the park, but added staff advised the park will remain closed for the rest of the day.
