Officers in Greenville, South Carolina, responded to a reported bomb threat at the Greenville Zoo Saturday morning. The Greenville Police Department reported that the Greenville Detention Center alerted officers to the threat after an anonymous call was made. The zoo was evacuated as officers worked to investigate the threat. In a social media post, the zoo officials said, "The Greenville Zoo is CLOSED today, Saturday, June 27 for public safety reasons. The Greenville Police Department is investigating a reported bomb threat. Zoo staff trains for these types of emergencies. All 450+ guests were safely evacuated." https://lnkd.in/gYn_SpFN
