A beloved family attraction in Houston is facing a lawsuit after a Harris County employee allegedly suffered a broken neck in a fall from a gravity chair. Harris County filed the lawsuit against the Children's Museum Houston on July 27, seeking less than $250,000 in damages, according to Harris County District Court records. According to the lawsuit, a Harris County employee allegedly broke his neck after a gravity chair flipped while he was visiting the Children's Museum Houston on July 26. "The injuries sustained were proximately caused by an unreasonably dangerous condition upon the property," the petition reads. "[The Children's Museum Houston] knew of or should have known of this dangerous condition and…neither warned of this dangerous condition, nor took any steps to make the condition safe." The county alleges the employee suffered physical injuries that required medical treatment and left him unable to work. The lawsuit seeks to recover medical expenses and income benefits paid on the employee's behalf. https://lnkd.in/g4c2FRkM
