The Cape May County Park & Zoo was evacuated and went into lockdown Monday after police said they received a bomb threat over the phone. Authorities said the threat to blow up the zoo was called into 911 shortly after 4 p.m. “The zoo went into lockdown. Visitors and staff were evacuated, and animals were secured,” Cape May County Government officials said in a statement. Four bomb-sniffing dogs helped members of the county sheriff’s office and local police department to clear the zoo and park, officials said. No bombs were found. https://lnkd.in/epydCCzx
