The grenades were found while library staff were conducting routine collection maintenance Thursday afternoon, said Connecticut State Librarian Deborah Schander. The evacuation Thursday at the state library, which shares a building with the state Supreme Court, was prompted by two live, World War I-era German grenades, according to Connecticut State Police. https://lnkd.in/eYvUBV2S
