The National Museum (Nay Pyi Taw) has stated on its Facebook page that the exhibits and displays in the Historical Period (11th-14th century AD) gallery have not been damaged. “The exhibition was properly organized, so the main exhibition items in the Historical Period (11th-14th century AD) gallery, including the replicas of the pagodas, sandstone statues, the three iconic pagodas of Bagan, and the dome that displays a panoramic view of Bagan, were not damaged by the Mandalay earthquake,” the museum said, along with recent photos. https://lnkd.in/gVmxpacb

A Dutch town hall has admitted that it "most likely" accidentally disposed of 46 artworks, including an Andy Warhol print of the former Dutch queen, during renovation works last year.An investigation said the artworks were stored in a basement during renovations and a lack of guidelines for storing the artworks could have been among the reasons why they ended up being thrown away.https://lnkd.in/e
