Officials asked for the public’s help to find a gun nut who stole a replica World War II pistol from a Nassau County military museum, but internet trolls instead opened fire on images of the sticky fingered suspect. The patron — spotted wearing a baseball hat with a rifle stitched on it — swiped the replica Colt 1911A1 from the Museum of American Armor in Old Bethpage, an institution known for doing demonstrations with tanks and other large artillery. https://lnkd.in/gqqeN3Dd
