The Grand Rapids Public Museum closed unexpectedly Wednesday, June 25, due to “unforeseen circumstances.” A museum spokesperson said the closure was due to the discovery of old pharmaceuticals in an exhibit, which triggered a shutdown under the museum’s safety policies.
