The Department of Archaeology and National Museum has conducted field surveys and documented damage to the intangible cultural heritage in the Mandalay Region, Sagaing Region, and Shan State, resulting from the Mandalay earthquake.
Employing a globally standardized methodology, a team led by an assistant director of the Department of Archaeology and National Museum conducted field surveys and documentation that produced an inventory of damage to intangible cultural heritage, collecting ten works.
