A man has been arrested after the Stone of Destiny’s glass case was smashed at Perth Museum. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “At around 1.55pm on Saturday July 12, 2025, Police Scotland received a call regarding a disturbance at the Perth Museum. “A 35-year-old man was subsequently arrested. Enquiries are continuing.” Perth Museum has not commented, but said on social media the museum is open, with the Stone “temporarily unavailable”. https://lnkd.in/gVxYfqaz

An event at the Buffalo History Museum has been postponed after alleged threats were made toward one of the speakers.The museum says Buffalo News editorial cartoonist Adam Zyglis and his family have faced several credible death threats following his recent cartoon addressing the flooding in Texas.
