A Pablo Picasso painting at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is now restored after being splattered with paint by a climate activist last month.
The museum announced Wednesday that Picasso’s L’Hétaïre is back on display until Sept. 7 as part of the exhibition Berthe Weill, Art Dealer of the Parisian Avant-Garde. A member of the climate activist group Last Generation Canada threw pink water-based paint at the artwork on June 19.
