The Cultural Safeguard Alliance had yet another incredible day exploring Chicago’s premier cultural institutions! Our journey began at the Chicago Children's Museum, where we were amazed by the innovative exhibits and thoughtfully designed spaces. A special shoutout to CSA Member Peter Williams, VP of Exhibits and Building Operations, for creating such an engaging and enriching environment for young minds to explore and learn! The entire team at the Children’s Museum operates with such dedication and creativity, it’s clear why this space is a treasure for families and educators alike. Our cultural adventure continued at the Adler Planetarium, where we experienced the wonders of space in this magnificent institution. Many thanks to Joseph Hernandez, ICAP, Guest and Member Services Manager, for his hospitality with our visit. The planetarium team runs an incredible operation, seamlessly guiding visitors through the cosmos with both scientific precision and infectious enthusiasm! Making the day even more special was spending it with our wonderful friend and CSA Member Laura Triplett, Security Manager at the Art Institute of Chicago, who joined us for this full day of cultural excursions. As an added bonus, we were treated to an unexpected spectacle as the United States Air Force Thunderbirds performed their breathtaking aerial maneuvers over Navy Pier and downtown Chicago! Days like these remind us of the incredible cultural institutions that enrich our communities and the dedicated professionals who make them thrive. We’re proud to be connected with such outstanding cultural leaders through the Cultural Safeguard Alliance. #CulturalSafeguardAlliance #ChicagoCulture #Museums #Planetarium #ThunderbirdsAirShow
