๐ฃ Now Open: Cultural Property Protection 2025 Benchmarking Survey!
The Cultural Safeguard Alliance is proud to announce the release of our Cultural Property Protection 2025 Benchmarking Survey, developed in partnership with the Center for Audience Research & Evaluation at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
๐ Why This Matters:
As budget season approaches, institutions face rapidly evolving security challenges. Based on methodologies from the American Alliance of Museums and comprehensive facilities reports, this survey represents the first major data collection effort focused exclusively on cultural property protection.
๐ช Building on Success:
In 2024, over 75 organizations participated in our benchmarking initiative, creating an invaluable dataset that has already informed security practices across the sector. This year, we aim to expand our reach even further!
๐ Confidentiality Assured:
We understand security concerns. This survey is not released to the public but exclusively available to vetted and verified CSA members (Did you know? CSA is a free membership network!). Organization names are never sharedโonly anonymized data categorized by various relevant institutional factors are used for benchmarking.
๐ก Your Participation Will:
๐น Contribute to industry-wide security standards and best practices
๐น Help identify resource gaps and emerging protection needs
๐น Shape the future of risk management
๐ Who Should Participate:
Security, Facilities, IT, and Collections professionals, along with executive leadership at museums, galleries, libraries, historic sites, performing arts centers, aquariums, botanical gardens, zoos, and cultural centers.
