A one-of-a-kind piece of artwork got snatched from a shop during a break-in at Seattle’s Pike Place Market, and the owner is offering a reward to get it back. Among the items taken was a rare marionette made in the likeness of the shop’s owner, Vyvyn Lazonga, an internationally acclaimed tattoo artist known as Seattle’s First Lady of Tattoo. The stolen marionette is an almost two-foot-tall likeness of the Madame. It hung from its strings above the front desk, complete with Lazonga’s red hair and tattoos painted on her arms. Seattle police said aside from the marionette, about $1,200 in wood-burning art equipment was also stolen, but next to nothing else was removed. https://lnkd.in/gHkMJQvW
