The Lynden Fire Department responded at 7:08 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 to a fire at the Lynden Heritage Museum. According to local media, the fire is believed to be the result of a short in a paper shredder. Damage was contained to the room of origin, Lynden Fire Chief Mike Noonan told media on Saturday, Nov. 8. Noonan also said unspecified equipment damage in the room was an estimated $3,000. Nobody was injured in the fire. The extent of damage is unclear at this time, however, as the cause of the fire is under investigation. https://lnkd.in/gUdpTwJm
