Some time between Christmas 2021 and early January 2022, Jeffrey Wood stole the world-famous portrait of a scowling, wartime Winston Churchill, titled The Roaring Lion, from Ottawa's Château Laurier hotel, replacing it with a fake. At the Ottawa Courthouse on Monday, Wood was sentenced to two years less a day in custody. He was then placed in handcuffs and taken into custody. https://lnkd.in/giVbB3qA
