A library spokesperson said they decided to close the library through the weekend after an incident with a person with a sword. According to a statement from the library, the individual entered the Michael Kusalaba branch with a sword and threatened staff and patrons. Library staff moved patrons to a “safe location” while the individual entered a restroom and locked the door. https://lnkd.in/gvS3QrRH

Firefighters were continuing to tackle a blaze at a derelict textile mill on Sunday morning as it emerged the flames had also caused damage to the nearby Keighley Bus Museum.Bus museum chairman Norman Shepherd said embers from the mill fire had damaged the museum's roof, but none of its vehicles had been badly affected.
