CSA spent the day at the expansive Mall of America! First order of the day was meeting with their in-house security team, which is truly top notch in every way. Their training is extensive and intentional, their operations are efficient and thorough, and their team is filled with the nicest people! We loved meeting a member of their K-9 unit and getting to know their security leadership team. Big thanks to Will Bernhjelm, Lauren Genovese, and Nick Evert for the hospitality! Also, Nick Evert is speaking at ASIS International’s GSX conference later this month! If you’re attending GSX, be sure to catch his session on Tuesday, September 30th - “Facial Recognition: Triumphs and Tribulations from Deployment at Mall of America.” We spent the rest of the day getting our steps in around the mall, checking out the shops, amusement park, and aquarium!
