The Michael Collins House Museum in Clonakilty is closed until further notice after a section of the ceiling in one of the upstairs rooms collapsed on Wednesday afternoon. A council spokesperson told local media that no damage was caused to the displays at the popular museum but as a precautionary measure the museum will remain closed pending the outcome of a technical assessment which is currently underway. Michael Collins House Museum posted online that they will continue to provide updates as necessary and said they appreciate the public's patience and understanding during this time. https://lnkd.in/gZxbsW2m
