The Memphis Police Department (MPD) is investigating a bomb threat at the National Civil Rights Museum on Saturday evening, according to a National Civil Rights Museum spokesperson. According to MPD, for precautionary reasons the building was evacuated. The MPD Bomb Unit and police K-9 unit and other federal partners arrived on the scene and performed a thorough assessment.
